Single leaf, 22½ x 17½", printed on one side, showing the faces if five defendants and their last names (Lebron, Miranda, Condera, Flores, Collaso) and calling for the release of political prisoners of Puerto Rico. The grand jury indicted the defendants (and 12 others) with violation of the seditious conspiracy statute. They were members of the Nationalist Party and the prosecution charged that they "sought to bring about the political independence of Puerto Rico from the United States by force, violence and armed revolt." The majority of the defendents were found guilty and sentenced to six years in prisoners. Four pleaded guilty and agreed to testify; these were given suspended sentences.
